As of now, IGCN has successfully fixed the abnormal DMG issue that occurred in the most recent update.
Over the past few days, we have continued working closely with IGCN to fully investigate and resolve this issue. At this point, we have also identified the reason why the problem occurred in the latest update.
According to IGCN, they are currently developing MU Online Season 22 Part 1. An official test version is already available, and LifeMU also plans to introduce this version in the near future. During the development process, some changes intended for Season 22 Part 1 were mistakenly included in the latest update for Season 21 Part 2-3, resulting in abnormal DMG for certain character classes.
The issue and its fix can be verified in the IGCN Server Release Notes:
https://www.igcn.mu/release-notes/server/
Please check the latest entry at the bottom of the page:
- IGC Server Release 21.2.3.7 S3
- Update 21.2.3.7 S3 replaces 21.2.3.7 S and 21.2.3.7 S2 and fixes abnormal damage for certain character classes.
Therefore, some character classes may currently still have different DMG compared to their values before the October 4 maintenance. These values will be restored to their original DMG after the next maintenance, which is expected to take place within the next few days.
One of the clearest examples is the Gun class, whose current DMG is higher than it was before the latest maintenance. Its DMG will be adjusted back accordingly.
LifeMU would also like to clarify that no character class will receive preferential DMG increases unless the adjustment is part of an official bug fix or an intended change introduced by a new Season/version.
Players are advised to take note of this information and prepare accordingly.
This incident was also unexpected from our side, as sudden changes to character DMG are rarely introduced by IGCN without prior notice. Normally, significant balance or DMG changes are announced in advance.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
Thank you for your continued support of LifeMU.
